Sorry nice interior design though, and an altogether big place (big groups are no problem here). Waiters are friendly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Trendy and delicious food, the price is a bit higher than reasonable though. Still pretty nice and friendly staff. It is located on Mariahilfer Straße, so taking a break here during or after an exhausting shopping trip surely is nice! Freiraum offers food from different cultures, e.g. Italian food (pizza etc.), Spanish food (e.g. Spanish tomato soup), American food (e.g. burgers) ... restaurants that offer too many different cuisines often aren't specialised in any if them and the food may turn out disappointing, however in this case, Freiraum pulls off the different kinds of food pretty well!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ FreiRaum is one of our favorite spots in Vienna. The menu covers all kinds of dietary restrictions, and my gluten-free vegan family members can also find something yummy here. Catering to tourists and locals, this eclectic Lokal has amazing breakfast, serves cocktails, and just a coffee too. Free internet.
Returned today with my daughter for breakfast, after several years. I can stand by my rating, the "breakfast box" is a great deal, and the breakfast "fuer 1 Leute" is probably enough for two. Good service. There's a little room for improvement there (forgot the milk, a bit slow to come back), but basically good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice local, nice vibe, the waiters was very friendly and recommended us some good drinks. We also ate wiener schnitzel, which was too big for one person, but exactly fit for 2. The not so ok for me was the lava cake without ice cream. It tasted good, but, of course, too hot to eat without ice cream. They put on the side some fruits. Any way, strongly recommend ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I don’t see why this is a popular place at all, the breakfast is OK and the waiters are great and friendly. I have to say that the b/fast platter you see on the picture costs almost 11€, not worth it.
This is a cosy place to be for a quick coffee and cake that’s all. You can see how they just thrown the food on the plate as it does not look nice at all.
