★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Netter, kleiner Ausflug und auch durchaus lehrreich- den Kindern gefällts...vielleicht ein bisschen teuer im Vergleich zu dem, was geboten wird: Auch wenn man sich alles genau ansieht ist man in spätestens einer dreiviertel Stunde durch.
 Nice, little excursion and also quite educational children like it ... maybe a bit expensive compared to what is on offer: Even if you look at everything carefully, you are through in 45 minutes at the latest.

Fascinating Celtic village to experience for yourself how people used to live and work. Excellent workshops. Baking bread, making jewelry, etc.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you are cycling along the Donau between Au and Greim then take time to visit the Freilichtmuseum (open air museum) at Keltendorf near Mitterkirchen. This is the site of a Celtic burial ground. Not only can you capture a bit of ancient history, there is also a snack bar with shaded tables and toilets. The basic site can be visited for free, or for a small charge you can see the indoor section with various archeological finds.
