It's great to see these plants at the natural site! Information boards and signage are also good. Worth a trip in mid-May to mid-June!

Spenden werden gerne genommenen. Die Tiroler Bergwacht pflegt und bewacht die Orchideen, da es immer noch Leute gibt die sie ausgraben wollen. Bitte nicht!!!!! Die wachsen und gedeihen nur dort an diesem Ort! Must see! This splendor of orchids is unique! Around May ... depending on the weather ... it's an incredible sight. Free entry. Donations are welcome. The Tyrolean Mountain Rescue Service looks after and guards the orchids, as there are still people who want to dig them up. Please do not!!!!! They only grow and thrive there in this place!

Die Vielfalt der hier wachsenden Frauenschuhpflanzen 5-6000 insgesamt, wovon ca 1500-2000 jedes Jahr blühen machen diesen Teil der Lechau zum einem Naturjuwel. Seit über 100 Jahren ist der einheimischen Bevölkerung bekannt,dass es hier sehr viele dieser Pflanzen gibt. Das Gebiet wird seit mehr als 50 Jahren durch die Bergwacht geschützt und gepflegt. Here we are in what is probably the largest and most valuable Frauenschuh area in Central Europe. The variety of lady's slipper plants growing here 5-6000 in total, of which about 1500-2000 bloom every year, make this part of Lechau a natural jewel. The local population has known for over 100 years that there are many of these plants here. The area has been protected and cared for by the mountain rescue service for more than 50 years.
