Anscheinend haben die mir die Austern von letzter Woche gegeben (obwohl da gar keine Lieferung auf der Website vermerkt war?) Jedenfalls war in manchen gar kein Wasser mehr drinnen und das Fleisch ist richtig an der Schale geklebt. Das war auch nicht das erste Mal dass mir das passiert ist: Jetzt reicht's. Ich verstehe, dass man nichts wegwerfen will, aber dann sollten die älteren Austern auch gekennzeichnet und zu einem reduzierten Preis angeboten werden damit sie die Leute wenigstens zum Kochen verwenden können, aber für den Rohverzehr waren die definitiv ungeeignet. Aber diese noch um den -ohnehin etwas teuren- Normalpreis zu verscherbeln, ist eine Frechheit. Werde wohl in Zukunft woanders kaufen. Was there on Saturday to get oysters, which according to the website were delivered on Friday. Apparently they gave me the oysters from last week (although there was no delivery on the website?) In any case, some of them had no water at all and the meat is properly stuck to the shell. It wasn't the first time that this happened to me either: that's enough. I understand that you don't want to throw anything away, but then the older oysters should also be labeled and offered at a reduced price so that people can at least use them for cooking, but they were definitely unsuitable for raw consumption. But to sell them off at the normal price, which is a bit expensive anyway, is a joke. Will probably buy elsewhere in the future.

Habe vor Kurzem angefangen Fisch zu essen und habe schon eifrig einiges ausprobiert (andere Händler, frisch vs tiefgefroren, Wildfang, Billa usw). Der Unterschied war enorm, Gruber liefert perfekte Qualität. Die hat aber leider auch ihren Preis.. Der Fisch ist teilweise 3-4-fach teuerer als im Supermarkt. Also nicht für jeden Tag, dafür aber perfekt für besondere Anlässe. Quality is always top. I recently started eating fish and have eagerly tried a few things (other traders, fresh vs frozen, wild caught, Billa, etc.). The difference was enormous, Gruber delivers perfect quality. Unfortunately, it also has its price. The fish is sometimes 3-4 times more expensive than in the supermarket. So not for every day, but perfect for special occasions.

N	Nino Weiss on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Before I buy fish, I always check all three of the usual suspects Gruber, Umar and Nordsee, which are conveniently locate one right next to the other. And logistics make it possible, even in Vienna, to indulge in some oysters with a glass of wine as little snack! Better even, and a lot cheaper, just learn to open them at home (the oysters and the wine ;-).
