Positiv: Die Pension liegt in einer wunderschönen Umgebung. Jeden Morgen und an unserem letzten Abend wurden wir mit einem leckeren Frühstück bzw. Raclette verwöhnt. Für die Kinder standen Schlitten bereit und damit kann man direkt am Haus den Hang runterdüsen.. Negativ: Nichts.

Positive: Location, location, location. The views are fenomenal. We loved the silence. The apartment was ok. Great beds!.

Positive: Great view from balcony, very nice and helpful owner, fresh bread every morning (!) and 2 lazy cats walking around and in the house. Bathtub outside the house with hot water was very nice idea;).

Positive: Ensuite shower rooms good. Good bean to cup coffee machine, but had to service it before it would work as it had not been used in a while, emptied etc. WiFi worked fine, ditto tv. Bread rolls available to be delivered to groundfloor lobby each morning. Beds comfortable.. Negative: Confusion upon arrival; owner not exactly sure what size of apartment we wanted and booking.com not helpful, despite us saying exactly how many guests we were.As it turned out all 3 apartments vacant initially, and looked like they had not been used in a while. Picture of apartment on website not the one we got and is actually of the "common room" shared by all guests. Series of inter-linked apartments, worker accommodation and work/office spaces in house adjacent to owners farm house. "Homely", well-used house appointed OK but overly full of miscellaneous furniture, neither modern nor traditional. Kitchenettes provided with very little cooking equipment, but hoards of mis-matched china. Oven not particularly clean, greasy pan. Nothing really prepared for us - found fridge off with door open (in 35C temperatures), cat on bed (not everyone is a cat-lover!) Advertised "made on our own farm"cheese, butter, milk service was NOT available, no welcome milk. No toiletries, soap etc. Hot tub outside front door, but not operational. Small garden not tended and overgrown. 32 steps up to apartment and 32 steps down to coffee machine in "common room". Long way to lug heavy cases. Open plan style of flats and communal areas makes it noisy when there are other guests. This NOT the fault of the owners. Noisy party of guests in lower apartment had little respect for others in evenings and early mornings and constantly running up and down stairs to "common room" etc. Perhaps post up guidelines in several languages pointing out that there are other guests whose privacy and quietness is to be respected.Owner only accepts cash,.

Positive: We stayed for 5 nights (skiing holiday) with two children and three dogs. The owner was most friendly and helpful - we were allowed to tour the cow pens and the girls could pet the calves. Pedal go-karts as well as bobsleighs were available for the kids. We were also offered a free raclette dinner on one of the evenings as a bonus to our stay. We had two rooms, each with a double bed and a small bathroom, and a small kitchen combined with a living/dining room. Each room had an access to a balcony. The neighbourhood is a farming area with scattered farmhouses, with views of the surrounding mountains. The farm is basically isolated on its grounds, with no through traffic. The views are great. We arrived after a morning with heavy snowfall, but the steep mountain road leading up to the accommodation was cleared and treated with road salt, so our snow chains were not necessary, but it might be a good idea to have them around. If you are coming for a skiing holiday, both "ends" of the Dachstein West resort are easily accessible. The parking lot at Russbach as well as Annaberg are within a few minutes drive, with other skiing areas at Postalm and Krippenstein also easily accessible. For summer holiday, the place must be great as well, with many hiking possibilities around.. Negative: The rooms weren't particularly spacious, but you can't expect miracles at the very reasonable price we paid. When the house is fully booked, parking might be slightly problematic, but the owner was again very helpful - 5 cars were at the site at one point, but we were able to find a parking spot for each one..

We stayed for a weekend for a family reunion and rented the whole house - it was amazing! Every room had their own bathroom and there was plenty of space for us to sit together to eat, play games, but also to split up if you wanted some me time. We also brought our dog who definitely had fun exploring all three stories of the house. We also really enjoyed the hot tub outside, what a feeling to breathe in the cold winter air, while enjoying the warm water and the view of the snowy mountains surrounding us. Martina, the owner, was very friendly and accommodating, giving us many tips to enjoy the area. We will definitely come back!
