Good hotel with good kitchen and neat rooms for a reasonable price and close to various walking areas.

Not enough stars for this hotel. Min. 10 would be justified. Everything is just great, really everything.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A family run hotel perfect for family ski vacations. I stayed half board over New Year and found the food and accommodation typically Austrian and to a high standard. The hotel is kept spotless which is easier said than done with lots of children running around and is a credit to the management. The hotel is almost "ski in ski out" all for a short thirty meter walk to the first blue run that will take you in to Faschina, although the ski bus will be needed from here to reach the other linked resorts of Damuls and Mellau. Damule and Faschina offer little for non skiers apart from the other typical Alpine activities, but if all your party ski or are aspiring improvers Hotel Alphof makes an excellent base for an active holiday.
