D	Dieter Kuepper on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wir sind mit der Zahnradbahn um 07.38 Uhr von Garmisch hochgefahren. Dieser Zug kann nur online gebucht werden. Der Vorteil ist, man ist als erster auf der Zugspitze, ohne Gedränge. Im Zug ist genügend Abstand vorhanden. Die Bestätigung erfolgt als Email, die man am Schalter vorlegen muss. Man bekommt das Ticket und einen Getränkegutschein. In der Ferienzeit kann es vorkommen, dass ab Mittag keine Tickets mehr verkauft werden. Deshalb der Rat, bei gutem Wetter so früh wie möglich hoch. Auch die Zugfahrt ist ein Erlebnis. Der Ausblick oben schlägt alles. Meine Bilder sprechen für sich. Nicht ganz billig der Spaß, der Frühzug ist 10 Euro billiger plus Getränk. Es lohnt sich aber auf jeden Fall. We took the cogwheel train up from Garmisch at 7:38 a.m. This train can only be booked online. The advantage is that you are the first on the Zugspitze, without any crowds. There is enough space in the train. The confirmation is sent as an email, which must be presented at the counter. You get the ticket and a drink voucher. During the holiday season, tickets may no longer be sold after midday. Hence the advice to go up as early as possible in good weather. The train ride is also an experience. The view above beats everything. My pictures speak for themselves. The fun is not cheap, the early train is 10 euros cheaper plus a drink. But it's definitely worth it.

Nicht ganz billig, aber im Kombiticket 2x Seilbahn, 1x Zahnradbahn auf jeden Fall ein einmaliges unvergessliches Erlebnis We were very lucky with the weather, drank delicious hot cocoa and enjoyed the incomparable and beautiful view. Not exactly cheap, but with the combination ticket 2x cable car, 1x cog railway it is definitely a unique, unforgettable experience
V	Verena Christianus on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ein sehr interessantes Museum auf die Zugspitze mit Informationen und Filmen über die Besteigung der Zugspitze und den Bau der Bahn. Die Ausstellung zeigt historischen Aufnahmen, diversen Filmvorstellungen, einem Glasboden mit Blick in die Tiefe, einer begehbaren Landkarte, der Gondel aus den 60er Jahren und vieles mehr! Es lohnt sich auf jeden Fall. Wunderschön! A very interesting museum on the Zugspitze with information and films about the ascent of the Zugspitze and the construction of the railway. The exhibition shows historical photos, various film screenings, a glass floor with a view of the depths, a walk-on map, the gondola from the 1960s and much more! Definitely worth it. Beautiful!

d	dorothy brüll on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Content of the museum and history of the building process is great, BUT Corona-times bring new considerations: no soap in the toilet, the 3d glasses are not cleaned between uses (!!!), the building welcomes a lot more people than what could possibly keep 1.5 distance mathematically.... not cool in one of the hotspots of the spring corona crisis of EU.
