'The responsibile person is on vacation/meeting' seems the standard line applicants will hear, checking for the application's status. This has been going on for ages and no one wants to take up the baton. Better think twice before you waste your time on Fabasoft!

I would like to inform future applicants that I do not recommend this company. I think, for a technology company, more important than its own technologies, is its integrity and the virtue. At the same time, I also advise other applicants not to waste time, contact AK(Arbeiterkammer) and consult a lawyer in time when encountering this kind of contractual manipulation. Here is what I have experienced during my application: On February 15th, 2022 I had my first job interview online at Fabasoft. On February 22nd, 2022 I had my second personal interview at Fabasoft. On March 11th, 2022 (Friday) I was at Fabasoft and signed the employment contract. After that I turned down all other offers from other companies. On March 15, 2022 at around 4:00 p.m. I received an email from HR that the contract had been unilaterally terminated by the company without any reasons. I have replied to the HR, inquiring the reason to cancel my contract. If they reject my application at any point before signing the contract (such as after the first and second interviews), it is a normal process and I can understand it. Since no news have been given by HR from Fabasoft, I have made two calls on March 17th, at about 8:14 and 9:11, respectively. In the first call, the colleague of the HR told me that she will be in the office after 9 o’clock. However, in the second call, she claimed that the HR is on vacation today and tomorrow. I am not sure whether the HR is trying to avoid me on purpose, what I have asked for is merely a proper reason for your unilateral termination of the contract. I experienced this case for the first time in my whole life. When I asked all my acquaintances, nobody could believe that something like this could happen in Austria at all.
