one of the oldest Protestant communities in Burgenland. The neoclassical one impresses with its splendid simplicity.

Die Mentalität dieser deutschtreuen Enklave lässt sich exzellent auf den Punkt bringen in einem kleinen Sprüchlein, welches mir einst eine alteingesessene Lutzmannsburgerin bei einer gepflogenen Mische erzählte: „Im Osten woan Ungarn, rundherum nur Krowodn und Strebersdorf is katholisch, wos hätt ma denn mochn solln?
