★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Big portions of meals. As alternative you can get smaller dish for kids. At bar they serve dark beers. Communication in English possible. You can pay by card.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ❌❌ AVOID AT ALL COSTS IF YOU ARE NOT LOCAL ❌❌
We came here and first off, I noticed that there was no one here, and that should have been our first warning. Our waitress was stoney looking and pushing us to order food that we did not want, throughout the entire interaction with her.
We were given bread without a word, and thus we assumed it was free, as it is in North America. Later on, after the bill arrived, it was told to us that the bread, which costs $2.90 and $1.60 each PIECE, was just supposed to be put on the table, and optional to eat (also as a side note, the bread was SO salty, inedible). This however, was NOT communicated to us, and there wasn't even an attempt to do so.
Halfway through, we were thirsty (edit: we were never offered water, and are not avid beer drinkers so only got one beer to share) and also wanted more sauce for our schnitzel, however no one was in sight. We ended up having to GET UP, walk outside, to find the waitress smoking with the manager (no one bothered to even come into their own restaurant to check on anything during our meal).
The entire duration of our meals, there were several flies around the restaurant, landing on all the food. Finally, when we recieved the bill, we were greeted with 4 unexpected costs. Another that was not communicated to us, is that switching from fries to rice costs extra (even though on the menu, it says "choose between rice or fries", and there was no indication of there being extra costs), another extra cost was the extra sauce given to us, despite not being told about that costing extra as well. The other costs were the bread we unknowingly ate, not knowing it was placed on our table as an "optional" cost, which is an absurd and ridiculous idea in itself.
BOTTOM LINE/TLDR: The ONLY reason I am giving 2 stars instead of 1, is because after being outraged and disgusted by these behaviours, they brought in an English speaking man who had to call some kind of chef, and finally agreed that these extra costs were uncalled for. They prey on tourists for these extra costs and hope that most won't question it because the receipt is in German. AVOID because there are better restaurants nearby. Even if you are a starving tourist, pick elsewhere. (Edit: due to their disgraceful response that does not exhibit proper customer service, I've changed the rating to 1 star)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was the worst gastronomic experience in Austria! The soup tasted like instant from a supermarket, ordered creperes didn't come with strawbery sauce, only with whipped cream from can, sour apricots and ice cream. If you are near this area and you are hungry, definitely choose different restaurant!
