★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really small skating space, and really loud which is inconvenient for all skaters. Getting in takes around 20 minutes because staff in rude and completely disorganized. Restaurant food is not that good. Also the ice is rarely polished, and for an advanced person, trying to not bump into the hordes of beginners going the wrong way around is quite a challenge. Been here 4 times, all of them I regretted.

Ice was good, but the light is a little too dark in my opinion!
And I wonder why the less interesting times for Ice (around noon and early afternoon) aren't cheaper than prime time...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Home of the Vienna Capitals Ice hockey team. Typical sports stadium limited options for food & drink particularly if you were hoping to be in any way healthy but what do you expect. Close to the action for a great atmosphere without feeling over crowded though.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We visited the arena to watch a Vienna Capitals ice hockey game. A pretty good arena in terms of facilities but our view of one end of the ice was obstructed partly by a stairwell banister (see photo). Seemed to be a few more of these stairwells dotted across the arena, so choose your seats carefully. Food and drink is reasonably priced and the onsite Vienna Capitals store is well worth a visit if you are an ice hockey fan.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Too expensive ticket and drinks inside but at least you get an euro back for the cup. Parking in the area around the arena is bad but it is beautiful inside. Activities during breaks are funny and organisation is good. Also fans are great.
