All you need to have a wonderful winter vacation in one place! Great views, family friendly, next to the ski facilities, good food, friendly staff. I hope we come back next winter :-)

Nice hotel, good facilities, friendly people and good food. Close to the slopes of Fendels ski area and ski rental is next door. Going from the hotel to Serfhaus takes some time (approx 30min)

Clean, friendly and comfortable. Great for vacation with kids. Nice breakfast and wonderful salad bar with dinner. The rest of dinner is rather cafeteria level. Includes indoor pool.

I have just read a review translated from German into English. I went to Fendels last year, I have booked again this year. For British people, Fendels is a difficult place to get to. There is public transport, the last stage being by ski lift, but most people arrive by car..... I recognise the place being described in the previous review by Andreas Hernitscheck. For me the most important thing, is the fantastic location for skiing. It is possible to walk to the ski lifts and then after having a meal, spend the evening in the Wellness Centre...... I noticed the drinks were expensive and that they were trying to sell them. This hotel is not near any shops, so you might think there is no alternative. However we were quite happy to drink the tap water (from the taps in the hotel room)...... As for the meals, most of the meals were provided on a help yourself basis. So that meant that you could eat as much as you wanted. We found that the breakfast and an evening meal were enough...... I once woke up rather early and when I tried to enter the lobby and I found that I could not. I thought that was rather unusual, that they separated the sleeping quarters and the lobby during the night. I was also surprised that same table was reserved for us for every meal....... Overall it was a slightly unusual experience and my first introduction to skiing. The hotel advertises itself as child friendly and it is in a quiet village. It is rather different and possibly not for everyone. The scenery is fantastic...... Ski equipment is can be stored at the hotel on heated racks (boots) but not taken up to your room.......

No wifi in the room. Only wifi in the main lobby. Receptionist is often absent. Instruction paper is in German eventhough she knows that we don't know German. Hotel is good for family because they have facilities for kids, but they don't have enough staff to take care of those facilities. Restaurant and room service staffs are very friendly but receptionists are not friendly at all.

Great hotel that provides for everything a skier nerds: a sauna, swimming pool and a basement for the kids to play in. Also there is a storage for your skis/snowboards and the ski area is only 200 meters away, which is perfect for a family with children. Allround a great family hotel for a skiing trip.

Good family hotel. People are friendly. Dinner is ok … but not special. In the afternoon, outside bar is ??.

Nice hotel, kids friendly, infront of one of the nicest ski resorts in the area. Kitchen has a menu, fresh food in your plate. Recommended 100%
