Es stellt sich eine Rundherum-Zufruedenheit ein. Die Bedienung ist sehr persönlich. If you want to dine in nature, this is the place for you. Everything is freshly prepared at a high level and is a pure treat for the palate. There is an all-round satisfaction. The service is very personal.

Dazu Kartoffelsalat mit Gurkenstückchen lauwarm, ganz wenig Küsbisöl dabei, perfekt im Geschmack. Sehr nettes Service, moderate Preise. Probably the best fried chicken I've ever eaten. Crunchy, juicy on the inside. In addition, potato salad with cucumber pieces, lukewarm, very little pumpkin oil, perfect taste. Very nice service, moderate prices.

Wer gerne abseits der Massen, ländliche Spitzengastronomie genießen möchte ist hier genau richtig. Kleine Karte mit saisonalen Produkten und obwohl hier nur der Chef kocht, kommt das Essen extrem schnell zum Tisch. Die Preise sind vernünftig und das Angebot trotz kleiner Karte bietet für jeden Geschmack, von der Vorspeise bis zum Espresso danach, alles was das Herz begehrt. 2 Daumen hoch. Absolute Empfehlung. Update: 1 Jahr später und immer noch sehr hohe Qualität, nette und rasche Bedienung. Faire Preise. Eine Reservierung würde ich empfehlen. Update :2 Jahre später. Die Qualität der Speisen über mittlerweile 3 Jahre und trotz 10 monatiger Corona Sperre auf demselben hohen Niveau zu halten verdient Anerkennung und Respekt. Die Elzer Stubn ist immer noch eine uneingeschränkte Empfehlung wert. Idyllic, excellent service, high quality food from a top young chef. If you would like to enjoy top rural gastronomy away from the crowds, this is the right place for you. Small menu with seasonal products and although only the chef cooks here, the food comes to the table extremely quickly. The prices are reasonable and the offer, despite the small menu, has everything your heart desires for every taste, from the starter to the espresso afterwards. 2 thumbs up. Absolute recommendation. Update: 1 year later and still very high quality, nice and quick service. Fair prices. I would recommend a reservation. Update: 2 years later. Keeping the quality of the food at the same high level for over 3 years and despite a 10-month Corona ban deserves recognition and respect. The Elzer Stubn is still worth an unreserved recommendation.
K	Klaus Dudlik on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sensibel renovierter Steinbloß - Bauernhof mitten in der hügeligen Mühlviertelandschaft zwischen Kefermarkt und Lasberg ohne die fast obligatorischen Dekoelemente wie Strohblumen und Wagenräder, dafür mit vielfältiger Jausenkarte (selbstgemachtem Ziegenkäse, Speck, kaltem Braten, Roastbeef, Mehlspeisen) und herbstlichen Wildgerichten in hoher Qualität, gutem Gescjmack und ansprechender Präsentation. Natürlich Freistädter Biere und gute Weine. Netter Service! Ein Gasthaus wie man es sich wünscht. Sensitively renovated Steinbloß - farm in the middle of the hilly Mühlviertel landscape between Kefermarkt and Lasberg without the almost obligatory decorative elements such as straw flowers and wagon wheels, but with a diverse snack menu (homemade goat cheese, bacon, cold roast, roast beef, pastries) and high quality autumn game dishes with a good taste and appealing presentation. Of course, Freistadt beers and good wines. Nice service! An inn the way you want it to be.

Ich habe schon lange nicht mehr so ausgezeichnet gegessen. das war zwar mein erster Besuch aber mit Sicherheit nicht mein letzter in der Elzer Stub'n. bitte so weitermachen. Unfortunately I can only give five stars here and no more. I haven't eaten this excellent in a long time. That was my first visit, but certainly not my last in the Elzer Stub'n. please continue like this.

Das Rib-Eye Steak hingegen schmeckte gut gereift und war auf Wunsch perfekt Medium-Rare gebraten. Die Topinambursuppe war relativ salzig, die rindssuppe hingegen nicht stark gewürzt. Dass auf einer "Gemüse-Suppe" Speck-Croutons sind, ist nicht sehr vegetariergeeignet. Service war extrem schnell und freundlich. Good fine dining, we went there for family dinner. Mushroom cannelloni were a bit small for the price (about 13€ for 2 pieces). The rib-eye steak, on the other hand, tasted well matured and was perfectly roasted medium-rare on request. The Jerusalem artichoke soup was relatively salty, while the beef soup was not heavily seasoned. The fact that bacon croutons are on a "vegetable soup" is not very suitable for vegetarians. Service was extremely quick and friendly.
