Ein Oktopus, der auf der Zunge zergeht und bei dem man die Augen zu macht und für einen Moment an Meeresrauschen, salzige schmeckenden warmen Wind und Urlaub denkt! Einfach zum Weitersagen, dieses nette kleine urgemütliche Lokal in Mödling Today was again a cozy, very good, for me and my wife very original Greek food with lots of sunshine in the dishes and the best house wine I know! An octopus that melts in your mouth and makes you close your eyes and think for a moment of the sound of the sea, salty-tasting warm wind and vacation! Just to spread the word, this nice little, cozy restaurant in Mödling

Sehr enttäuschend dass um den stolzen Preis fast nur Gemüse serviert wurde. Wenn wir beide jeweils eine Portion Gebackenes Gemüse bestellt hätten, wäre es günstiger gewesen. Wir hatten eine Variation der auf der Speisekarte angeführten warmen Vorspeisen gerechnet, so wie eine Vorspeisenplatte für 2 Pers. sein sollte. Es war auch nicht auf der Karte angeführt dass diese Platte rein vegetarisch ist. We have a warm appetizer plate for 2 people. ordered - we got mainly baked vegetables. Tzatziki was extra (payable). Very disappointing that almost only vegetables were served for the steep price. If we had each ordered a portion of baked vegetables, it would have been cheaper. We were expecting a variation of the hot appetizers listed on the menu, such as an appetizer platter for 2 people. should be. It was also not stated on the menu that this plate is purely vegetarian.

The hosts are very friendly couple who bring Greek specialties, oils and other delicacies themselves every couple of months. The lunch meals are varied and with many vegetarian options. My favorite is Melanzani, it's the best I have tried and I think vegan too, same as grilled peppers stuffed with wild rice and raisins, but meal on the photo is risotto. Yummy main dish is followed by a complimentary amd free tasty dessert. There is a very cosy garden open in summer but you have to enter from Klostergasse to get there. If you enter from the main street the seating is quite limited, this is the only disadvantage!

The waitress was super nice, very helpful, the food was great (we had grilled octopus and Ratatouille from their Mittagsmenu) and the greek wine ?! Apparently they have a cute little garten to sit, but unfortunately it was closed today due to reconstruction. Hopefully another time ☺️
