Unüblich für die Branche wird hier auf Gewinnmaximierung durch Zugabe von Pulver und Geschmacksverstärker gänzlich verzichtet. Wo möglich wird auf Regionalität gesetzt. Der Apfel kommt vom Bodensee, die Himbeere aus dem eigenen Garten, die Heidelbeere wird mühsam in den Bergen Vorarlbergs eingesammelt. Vanilleschote werden per Hand ausgekratzt und der Waldviertler Mohn eigens gemahlen. Der etwas höhere Preis pro Kugel (1.80 statt der üblichen 1.50-1.60 bei der Konkurrenz) ist damit allemal gerechtfertigt, wird aber ohnehin durch die großzügige Portionsgröße ausgeglichen. Ganz klare Empfehlung für alle, die gutes Eis aus richtig guten Zutaten suchen. Those who value quality and natural ingredients have come to the right place. Unusually for the industry, profit maximization by adding powder and flavor enhancers is completely dispensed with. Wherever possible, emphasis is placed on regionality. The apple comes from Lake Constance, the raspberry from our own garden, the blueberry is laboriously collected in the mountains of Vorarlberg. Vanilla pods are scraped out by hand and the Waldviertel poppy seeds are specially ground. The slightly higher price per scoop (1.80 instead of the usual 1.50-1.60 at the competition) is definitely justified, but is offset by the generous portion size anyway. A clear recommendation for everyone who is looking for good ice cream made from really good ingredients.
