Eis-Greissler Manufaktur - Königsegg 25

It is an ice-cream manufactory with a leisure park attached to it. At the park you have to pay enteance fee, and several toys also cost sost some euros to use them. Mostly senso-motoric games for kids, but parents can also enjoy some.

Ice cream is not only a product, it is an experience there. The historic ride is funny, educative and innovative. The park is very relaxed and great fun for kids. I always look forward to try new Eis Greissler flavours and to be in the place where it all started and is still produced with regional and organic ingredients is a nice experience and a perfect day out with kids.

A beautiful place with lovely views. Lots of fun stuff to entertain the kids and great ice cream too! Huge portions if you order in the cafe. If you're wondering about having lunch here before indulging in ice cream, they've got it covered. There is a good selection of tasty meals to choose from in their main dining area.

Great place for kids, aldough be prepared to pay extra for entrance to really big playground. Great icecream. Try as many different tastes as some are really surprising. Only problem is getting there from the highway. With our navigation system we ended up in backyards and green fields to many times.

We LOVE Eis Greissler's ice cream, it is definitely the best ice cream we've tasted in Austria. That said, I was rather disappointed in the "tour". The tour included two videos, a tasting of Austrian products the company uses, a window with a peek into the production room (note: they do not work on Sat or Sun), looking at the signboards and a look at the cows (which one can do the last two for free). If I'm paying for a tour, I'd like to have/see more than videos. Our tour guide was also not very clear - for example, it was not clear when we should eat the samples, and the explanation of what was coming took too long The price of the tour, though, was reasonable (11,50€ Erwachsene & 8,00€ Kinder), as it also included entrance to the Erlebnisbereich, as well as 3 scoops of delicious ice cream. If the price was only for the tour, it would be overpriced. Also, the brochure states that families receive -10%, but we were not given the discount. The Erlebnisbereich is awesome. My kids didn't want to leave! From the setting, to the giant slide, to the petting zoo and even the water area, they enjoyed everything. I would certainly return to Eis Greissler, just to take my kids to the Erlebnisbereich (3,50€ pp). The ice cream was delicious and did not disappoint. Extra notes: bathrooms were clean.

Amazing place to go on a hot summer day. Experience the history and creation of one of the best ice creams in Austria, and enjoy walking around the small but lovely park before or after you satisfied your ice cream craving with all the flavours you can think of. People compare it to the Zotter factory experience, in which this one falls short for obvious reasons. It’s a lot smaller, you get less value for your ticket (no unlimited ice cream tasting unfortunately) and the tour itself is over after 20-30 minutes, half of which are movie watching stations. Overall still a fun summer activity, especially with kids, just don’t expect to spend hours and hours here.

Great ice cream! Poor customer care! Congratulations Eis-Greissler for closing in time (everything) including the baby toilet! Today, we paid the bill at 18:57 (POS transaction) and just a few minutes later your staff said the we can not use the toilet to change the baby as they closed at 19:00. In fact the lady cleaning inside saw us and asked the supervisor. Sadly, the boss said "no". So we changed the baby in our car! Picture taken at 19:13. Last visit for us!

A hidden treasure not so far away from Vienna! On a sunny day the park offers a lot of activities for the little ones - jumping on the mountains, enjoying the animals or simply take a ride on the giant slide! You can sit on the hill and enjoy the view - green as far as the eye can see mixed with the blue sky. Definitely worth visiting for a couple of hours! There are more than enough parking lots on site with well organized system. Thumbs up!
