★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Das Egger Marterl ist ein wunderbaren Aussichtspunkt, den es anzufahren lohnt. Von dem Bildstock hat man eine fast malerische Aussicht auf den Faaker See mit der majestätischen Kulisse des Mittagskogels im Hintergrund. Der Bildstock selbst ist ein für Kärnten charakteristisches Denkmal frommer Volkskunst, die als Wegweiser dienten, aber auch als Orte für ein stilles Gebet.
 The Egger Marterl is a wonderful vantage point that is well worth a visit. From the shrine you have an almost picturesque view of Lake Faak with the majestic backdrop of the Mittagskogel in the background. The shrine itself is a characteristic of Carinthia monument of pious folk art, which served as a guide, but also as places for a silent prayer.
