Beeinträchtigte Menschen bekommen hier sicher keine Hilfe da kein Personal vorhanden, zumindest weiß ich nichts Gegenteiliges. Jedenfalls haben wir bis zu unserer Unterkunft trotz Ortsbahnhof ein Taxi benötigt. Da hier ein Blindenseniorenheim ist und der Trend zu nachhaltiger Mobilität geht, sollte meiner Meinung nach das Angebot an ÖPNV in Grimmenstein positiv geändert werden. Und ich glaube nicht, dass jeder mit dem eigenen Auto unterwegs ist, weil er ungern mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln unterwegs wäre und soooooo gern Auto fährt. Kein Wunder zieht es alle jüngeren Leute von den Dörfern weg, die kein Auto haben (wollen), und mehr öffentlicher Nahverkehr lohnt sich ja angeblich nicht — dass ich nicht lache. Fazit: Trotz Bahnverbindung ist man trotz allem aufs Auto angewiesen, trotz Blindeneinrichtung. Blinde können wohl schlecht Auto fahren... Very small station, where usually not very busy. Impaired people get here certainly no help because no staff available, at least I know nothing to the contrary. Anyhow we needed a taxi up to our accommodation despite local station. Since this is a home for blind people and the trend towards sustainable mobility, in my opinion, the supply of public transport in Grimmenstein should be changed positively. And I do not think everyone is traveling by car because they are reluctant to travel on public transport and drive soooooo. No wonder it pulls all the younger people away from the villages who do not (want to) have a car, and more public transport is not supposed to pay - that I do not laugh. Conclusion: Despite train connection one is dependent on the car despite everything, in spite of seeing the blind. Blind people can drive a car badly ...

Verbindungen gibt es grundsätzlich nach Wien und Graz, meistens fahren die Züge aber nicht die komplette Strecke und enden etwas früher, beispielsweise in Wiener Neustadt oder Aspang. Es gibt einen Bahnsteig, welchen man für beide Gleise benötigt. Dieser ist nicht überdacht und ist nicht besonders gut ausgestattet. Man kann jedoch das Bahnhofsgebäude betreten. Umsteigemöglichkeiten zu Bussen vorhanden. Der Bahnhof könnte an vielen Stellen verbessert werden. Railway station in Lower Austria. Regional trains stop here.
