Auch Bestellungen auf Sonderwunsch werden prompt erledigt - inklusive verlässlicher Benachrichtigung. Very well stocked bookstore with competent advice, which really takes time for customers. Even orders on special request are done promptly - including reliable notification.

Sollte ein Buch nicht lagernd sein kann es bestellt werden und ist in der Regel nur wenige Tage später abholbereit. Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Neben Büchern gibt es unter anderem auch eine große Auswahl an Postkarten mit Sprüchen. Ein Besuch lohnt sich auf jeden Fall. Large selection of books, from crime novels to cookbooks. If a book is not in stock it can be ordered and is usually ready to pick up just a few days later. The staff is friendly and helpful. In addition to books, there is also a large selection of postcards with sayings. Definitely worth a visit.

Die Ausstattung, der Geruch, Bücher pur eben. Und das offensichtlich schon seit langem! Und das Service ist natürlich auch erstklassig! There are of course not all the publishers here as in the big bookstores, but the unmistakable flair of a "real" bookstore. The equipment, the smell, pure books. And obviously for a long time! And of course the service is first class too!

This bookstore is from the old school, well sorted with salespeople who still deserve the term specialist salesperson, and you can also find a lot of interesting antiquarian books.

Proprietari molto competenti ed assolutamente deliziosi. Parlano un italiano perfetto! Historical library, in a truly chic neighborhood; well stocked, with a special eye for the city of Trieste, with books and artistic themed prints. Very competent and absolutely delicious owners. They speak perfect Italian!
M	Mario Prinz on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Es gibt nicht mehr viele Gründe für Einkäufe aus NÖ nach Wien zu kommen. Leider gibt es kaum mehr Geschäfte wie die Buchhandlung Eckart. Walter Lux und Team sind kompetent, haben immer gute Literaturtips (der Leidenschaft der Familie Lux entsprechend oft mit Triestbezug) und besorgen gerne nicht lagernde Bücher. Sollte ein Wienbesuch in nächster Zeit nach dem erneuten Lockdown anstehen, ist ein Besuch bereits geplant. There are no longer many reasons to come to Vienna for purchases from Lower Austria. Unfortunately, there are hardly any more shops like the Eckart bookstore. Walter Lux and team are competent, always have good literature tips (often related to Trieste, in line with the Lux family's passion) and are happy to get books that are not in stock. If a visit to Vienna is due in the near future after the new lockdown, a visit is already planned.
