Great food freshly prepared by the chef. Very small restaurant. Due to the great food and the small size can get crowded.

excellent small restaurant with high quality of food, but only a small variety, which does not matter, because its one of these places where you can order anything and it will be great.

We were skeptical at first. The chef used to work in Steirereck but decided to open his own restaurant and bring gourmet food to the people. We have accepted our waiter's offer of 4-gang menu for a very reasonable price (what was called in one of the comments here - the surprise menu from the chef), and accompanied it with two glasses of wines - white & red - according to his recommendations. The first dish looked splendid, It was pieces of roasted meat with fish-mouse, the presentation was marvelous and the taste followed accordingly. The combination with the pickled horse-radish (kren) was precise, and the parsley powder on top gave the dish the final touch. Next was octopus - Truffle - soup which, in my opinion, was the best dish in the meal. The flavors mixed in the most perfect way one may imagine, including the harsh truffle, which many times is only being added to a dish just to mark it as an expensive/high-quality dish. This time the mixture of the Truffle was exactly as it should be, and gave the dish the special taste. The octopus pieces were soft and tender, as you could easily cut it with your spoon. Absolutely excellent. The main dish was duck breast (Ente), accompanied with puree made of mustard & potatoes, steamed vegetables and a pie-like piece with grilled cheese on top. The duck was again tender and delicious, and the combination with the special puree was simple heavenly. The desert we got was creme-brulee accompanied with a sorbet and forest-fruits. Overall, the dinner was absolutely delicious, and the prices were beyond reasonable. I have no doubt, we are going to be eating there as often as possible. Be aware that booking a table in advance is an absolute must.

Duspara has a very easy menu to understand - and you're not split by choice which makes it easy to decide on your lunch menu. On the particular day I went, they were offering 2 types of pasta (one chicken and one fish) with a vegetable soup as the entree. It was delish and left me wanting more. I would advise always reserving a table, as it is quite a small restaurant. But the food is great!

To me a hidden gem found. Take the Surprise menu - you won't be disappointed and indulge. Best meals I had in a long time... perfectly seasoned. Excellent wines to go with, a perfect waiter with the Austrian Charme and a great chef.
