Der Drauspitz ist bei Jugendlichen sehr beliebt, hat sonst aber keine Bedeutung. In direkter Umgebung vom Drauspitz befindet sich ein frei zugänglicher Kinderspielplatz. Außerdem treiben sich viele Fischer an der Draumauer am Drauspitz rum. Die Drau ist ein sehr beliebtes Ziel bei Freizeit-Anglern! The Drauspitz is a monument, exactly at the point where Drau and Lavant become one. The Drauspitz is very popular with teenagers, but otherwise has no meaning. In the immediate vicinity of Drauspitz is a freely accessible children's playground. In addition, many fishermen are drifting around the Draumauer at Drauspitz. The Drava is a very popular destination for recreational anglers!
O	Othmar Knappitsch on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Je nach vorhergehendem Wetter (kein Regen) und aktuellem Sonnenstand (hohe Sonne besser) kann hier am Zusammenfluss der Lavant (eher braunes Urgesteinswasser) in die Drau (eher grünliches Kalkgesteinswasser) ein wunderschönes Farbspiel bei der Mischung beider Wassertypen angeschaut werden. In der Regel bleiben beide Flüsse etliche Meter unvermischt. Nachdem dieser Ort nicht weit von der Bundesstrasse ist, ist er ein lohnender Zwischenstopp auf der Durchreise (leider kaum Parkplätze, weil Wohnhäuser). Selten zu sehendes Naturschauspiel. Hinweis: Abbiegen direkt an der Brücke in Lavamünd (falls Zufahrt erlaubt).
