Da mein Kind nicht gerne still sitzt und alles erkundet, haben wir uns für einen Wahlarzt entschieden, um eben möglichst geringe Wartezeiten zu haben. Im Endeffekt haben wir 40 Minuten gewartet. Gleichzeitig waren bis zu 6 weitere Personen (inkl. Begleitpersonen) mit uns im Wartezimmer anwesend - was in Zeiten von Corona auch zu vermeiden wäre, vor allem da der Wartebereich recht klein ist. Ich finde 40 Minuten Wartezeit (mit Kleinkind) trotz Termin für einen Wahlarzt ehrlicherweise frech. Zudem man nach dem Eintropfen ja ohnehin nochmals 30 Minuten warten muss. Die Behandlung selbst war dann recht flott und in Ordnung, wobei mein Kind glücklicherweise kooperativ war und gut mitgearbeitet hat. Edit: Der Termin war um 10:30 Uhr und meine Nummer war bekannt (der Termin wurde nämlich seitens der Ordination einmal wegen Urlaub verschoben). Sollten also wirklich so viele Akutfälle davor gewesen sein, wäre ein kurzer Anruf dennoch bei einem Termin mit Kleinkind in einer Wahlarztordination mMn angebracht. MUCH too long wait We had an appointment for the mandatory MuKi-Pass examination (around the 2nd birthday). Since my child doesn't like to sit still and explore everything, we decided to go to a doctor of choice so that waiting times were as short as possible. In the end, we waited 40 minutes. At the same time, up to 6 other people (including accompanying persons) were present with us in the waiting room - which should be avoided in times of Corona, especially since the waiting area is quite small. I find 40 minutes of waiting (with a toddler) to be honestly cheeky despite having an appointment for a doctor. In addition, you have to wait another 30 minutes after the drop. The treatment itself was then very quick and okay, although my child was fortunately cooperative and worked well. Edit: The appointment was at 10:30 a.m. and my number was known (the appointment was postponed once by the ordination due to vacation). So if there really were so many acute cases before that, a quick call would still be appropriate for an appointment with a small child in a private doctor's office.
