DOTS restaurant bar lounge - Mariahilfer Str. 36

If I could, I would rate this bar/restaurant with zero stars. We wanted to try out new dishes and were also willing to pay more than usual. Nevertheless the prices are extremely high for the pieces you would get, but that is another issue of this place. First of all we reserved a table for four people a week before. When we got there the assigned table was mostly suitable for three people and we had to take the chair from the other table beside us (the seat was empty and nobody was sitting at the table). The waiter pointed out loudly that the chair of table is missing and I felt that I literally had to defend myself for taking the chair - BECAUSE I NEEDED A PLACE TO SIT. Then he even added that I should move my chair more away that people could sit better on the other table IF someone is coming. (the restaurant was half empty, and if somebody would have come, I would have moved anyway) - why assigning a table to us, which is so small that 4 people cant sit there, when we reserved a week ago? The rudely behavior of our waiter appeared when he was giving us the menu in card (we wanted to have it, because the menu on the phone is not very clearly presented) and he was giving sarcastic unnecesseraly comments like "so you are overwhelmed with your smartphone, because nowadays you rarely use it" - if that should have been a joke, I can say it was not even the slightest funny. This behavior was taking on and on. When he was taking our orders, when he moved my friend's place setting to mine (it was only provided for 3, but he never got us a 4th one) as he ment "she is only having desert, she doesnt need it anyway". I could point other things right now, but I dont want to waste my time with this place more than I already have. We didnt stay for the food anymore and left the place, this is not how you treat your customers. If you want to have a nice meal with your friends, this is NOT the place you are looking for. ps. the receptionist was nice, that's it

Fabulous food. Best endamame that we have had (and we have eaten lots). Dumplings were great. And the Geisha roll was again above par & service also top notch. Would not hesitate to recommend this place. It stacks up against anywhere we have been.

Very good Sushi, cocktails and ambiance. Only less thing was that the toilet wasn’t very clean. It didn’t match the rest at all.

What a wonderful place! Amazing food, very friendly and competent staff, great location. For me the best sushi in Vienna, especially the asparagus truffle experimental maki.

Concept is interesting. But sushi are ultra not tasty (rice always tastes bitter, you can’t eat it) and service is awful ? we came several times and each was about 40-50 minutes waiting, even tho the restaurant was half empty

Firstly-the place was almost empty when we came but anyway they gave us a small table where we could barely fit the food we ordered. After asking they said we can not get one of the bigger tables,without explaining why(it was obvious the tables were not reserved and until closing nobody has came) Secondly-We waited for a very long time for a waiter to come(the place was half empty just few more people beside us) Thirdly-we waited more then an hour for the food.After it finally came it was cold.Everything we have ordered was cold and not at all fresh. The meet was dry and not tasty. It was overpriced and all in all not worth your money at all. This was the first and the last time we go there. We would not recommend it .

The most Amazing Place in the world. Men working there are dressed with the skirt, fantastic sushi and dumplings, the location Is full of flowers, rabbits as lamps and a big central fridge with all wine inside. Just for open mind and Crazy people.

Highly recommended!!! excellent drinks, expertly prepared. The restaurant has this beautiful terrace where you can comfortably eat excellent Japanese cuisine, the Dim Sum and wasabi are delicious! Very kind and professional staff. All anticovid-19 rules respected.
