An der Anlegestelle der Fähre kann man in netter Umgebung auf der Donau Kaffee trinken und kleine kostlöichkeiten zu sich nehmen. Zu erwähnen ist für Sportbootfahrer die Anlegemöglichkeit für Sportboote. Das ist ein nettes Ziel für einen Bootsauasflug :) A seasonal ferry for pedestrians and riders. At the ferry landing stage, you can have coffee and small delicacies in nice surroundings on the Danube. Mention should be made of the possibility of mooring for pleasure boats for pleasure boaters. This is a nice destination for a boat trip :)

M	Mike Ikem on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mit der Fähre können nur Personen, Tier und Fahrräder transportiert werden. Überfahrt von jeder Seite auf die andere Seite der Donau möglich. Der Weg von Orth/Donau bzw. Haslau ist gut beschrieben und auch leicht zu finden. Auf der Seite von Orth/Donau bis zum Uferhaus und dann sind es noch ein paar Meter bis zur Fähre. Mann/Frau kann diese nicht verfehlen. Von Haslau kommend Richtung Donau und dann immer den Schildern auf dem Donautreppelweg entlang. Sollte die Fähre auf der anderen Donauseite stehen, reicht es telefonisch diese zu bestellen - Telefonnummer ist auch auf den Hinweistafeln vermerkt. Eventuell sind ein paar Minuten Wartezeit am Ufer zu verbringen, jedoch bei schönem Wetter ein Genuss sich dem Hektik des Alltags zu entziehen. Wer möchte, kann auch die vielen Möglichkeiten zum Baden in den Donaubuchten nutzen, es sind meistens Schotterbänke (siehe Fotos). Die Überfahrt selbst dauert nur ein paar Minuten, die Kosten dafür halten sich in Grenzen und sind es auch wert. Dadurch erspart man sich auch den Umweg über Wien oder Hainburg, welcher ein großer Zeitverlust ist. Sollte man am späten Nachmittags noch übersetzen wollen, ist es empfehlenswert, sich vorher davon zu informieren, wie lange der Betrieb an dem jeweiligen Tag ist, sonst gibt es keine andere Möglichkeit, die Donau an dieser Stelle zu queren. Auf der nördlichen Donauseite gibt es einerseits das "Uferhaus", welches sehr bekannt und auch die Küche in Ordnung ist. Anderseits gibt es auch direkt bei der Fähre die Chance, sich eine Stärkung zu genehmigen. Allerdings gibt es bei der Fähre nur Getränke und eine kleine Speisekarte, was aber nicht als Nachteil zu sehen ist. Dafür lohnt es sich, am Oberdeck der Fähre Kaffee und Kuchen mit Aussicht direkt an die Donau zu genießen. Only people, animals and bicycles can be transported on the ferry. The crossing itself only takes a few minutes, the costs are limited and well worth it. This also saves you the detour via Vienna or Hainburg, which is a great loss of time. If you still want to translate in the late afternoon, it is advisable to find out in advance how long the operation will be on that day, otherwise there is no other way to cross the Danube at this point. On the north side of the Danube there is the "Uferhaus", which is very well known and the kitchen is fine. On the other hand, there is also the chance to get some refreshment right by the ferry. However, there are only drinks and a small menu on the ferry, which should not be seen as a disadvantage. It is worthwhile to enjoy coffee and cake on the upper deck of the ferry with a view of the Danube.

Und bei "Corona" geht garnichts! Ein Handy braucht man auch! Nothing goes there! This is a small seasonal ferry for people and bicycles. Runs in summer when the water level of the Danube is right! And nothing works with "Corona"! You also need a cell phone!
