Der Domherrenhof besteht aus vier Geschoßen und steht an der Südwest-Ecke des Mausoleumvorplatzes dem Grazer Dom gegenüber. Die Schauseite befindet sich in der Bürgergasse, auch das spätbarocke Prunkportal ist dort verortet. Der Schöpfer des signierten Kunstwerkes ist der Südtiroler Künstler Veit Königer. Das Korbbogen-Portal ist von zwei Allegorien aus Sandstein, Religion und Wissenschaft, flankiert. Die Kartusche am Portalscheitel halten zwei Engeln, sie wird von einer Darstellung des steirischen Herzogshuts gekrönt. In der Kartusche befindet sich ein Relief Erzherzogs Karls II. von Innerösterreich. Den ursprünglichen Bleiguss ersetzte man 1950 durch eine Kopie aus Kunststein, da das Original 1945 abhandenkam. Die Torflügel bestehen aus Holz, das Oberlichtgitter ist aus Schmiedeeisen. Beide Elemente stammen aus dem Jahr 1763.

The cathedral courtyard consists of four storeys and stands on the southwest corner of the mausoleum forecourt opposite the Graz cathedral. The front side is in Bürgergasse, and the late Baroque pompous portal is also located there. The creator of the signed work of art is the South Tyrolean artist Veit Königer. The basket arch portal is flanked by two sandstone allegories, Religion and Science. The cartouche at the top of the portal is held by two angels, it is crowned by a representation of the Styrian ducal hat. In the cartouche there is a relief of Archduke Charles II of Inner Austria. The original lead cast was replaced in 1950 by a copy made of artificial stone, as the original was lost in 1945. The gate leaves are made of wood, the skylight grille is made of wrought iron. Both elements date from 1763.
