★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Diplocars has carved out a niche for itself providing a fair price that lies between what a dealer will offer you and what you can get by selling directly to a private party. The private party discount is justified given Diplocars convenient and hassle free process: (a) avoiding complexity of deregistration and Nova payment at Finance Ministry which Diplocars will do for you, (b) avoiding waste of time meeting with private parties and having them test drive and potentially damage your car, (c) avoiding payment issues you could have with a private party, and (d) convenience of having Diplocars pick up the car from your home. They are professional and have a track record of purchasing many cars from colleagues in my organization. Bottom line: could I have squeezed out a few extra Euro by selling directly to a private party? Yes. Would it have been worth the extra hassle and risks? Certainly not.
