The forest on a hill is nothing special, it's like any other forest. Surprisingly, the place gets even crowded on weekends, maybe because there is nothing else around. Surroundings get much more interesting if you go over the top of the hill to the area of Neusiedlersee lake.

The petting-zoo is nice, as well as the ruins but the walking-trails are kind of boring. A plus is, that it's not too far from vienna,... Summing up: I've had better, but to be fair i didn't walk the whole area so there might be some better places in that area.
M	Martin Balaj on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice place for walk. Does not matter if you want just short one or you want to spend there several hours. Only downside is that the marking is not always the best, but you will not get lost for sure.

If you have kids, they can explore different routes through the woods and you can meet up later. There is small creek running along the main route. Parking is available, but can be crowded. Don't use the restaurants parking. In the summer there is an ice cream place next to the parking lot. Overall an easy trail with several options for increased difficulty.
