★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The restaurant boasts stunning views of the mountains and lake by the golf course. The terrace (for apéritif or 19th hole) has very comfortably couches and the restaurant inside is well appointed with considered décor and a great ambience.
Each table has a bottle of hand sanitizer, ensuring comfort about COVID related safety, although I do question the decision to continue with a salad bar/buffet during the pandemic.
Sadly, our meals did not meet expectations. We had shnitzel, pork steak and the chickpea and spinach patties. In general, the meat was dry and quite tough and the canned tomato sauce accompanying the chickpea patties lacked umami and depth of flavour. We also would have liked to see more vegetarian options for the main dishes.
All in all, we had a good evening but we won't be back.
