★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Die Europasäule wurde an dem Punkt errichtet wo der Radweg Eurovelo 9 und die beiden Radwege Drahtesel und Dampfross zusammen treffen. Der Eurovelo 9 führt von Danzig bis nach Pula. Hier führte die ehemalige Bahnlinie von Stammersdorf bis Obersdorf, diese wurde Ende der 1980 er Jahre Eingestellt und Anfang der 1990 er Jahre in Einen Radweg umgebaut. Die Europasäule wurde aus Rädern von ehemaligen Waggons gefertigt, zum Gedenken an die Bahnstrecke.

 The European Column was built at the point where the bike path Eurovelo 9 and the two bike paths Drahtesel and Dampfross meet. The Eurovelo 9 runs from Gdańsk to Pula. Here was the former railway line from Stammersdorf to Obersdorf, this was set in the late 1980s and rebuilt in the early 1990s in a bike path. The European Column was made of wheels from former waggons, to commemorate the railway line.
