Very conveniently you only walk down the mountain, in a very pleasant and entertaining way. So much to do and so much to see!
Make sure to buy the 2€ wooden ball for your kids, it will be worth it.
Plan for half a day at least, or even one whole day.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent day trip!!! Perfect for famillies with children. There is a bus ride every 30minutes to the top in case you have small kids or you can go to the top with ski lift!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely mountainous zoo with Alpine animals plus a few 'mountain residents' from further away (polar wolf, yak etc), which is intermingled with a small but fine adventure park for kids. Good quality entertainment for kids, and good value for money (incl slides, a climbing house - a real one! - with an area to jump into real hay, water splash boats, mountain go-cart, etc). Plan in the better part of a day. Professional animal feeding takes place as well as birds of prey flying show. Very friendly, too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing Zoo, great experience for Kids and adults, animals are in big natural cages.
The round trip is well organized, you have a good restaurant and playground for kids.
You end the trip down the second ban station and can also take the way down in fast bike carts or in the slides.
Great adventure on our way back from Salzburg to Vienna!
