★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is a true gem. Perfect for visitors who want an authentic and local place to eat. Food was delicious! Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Our waiter went above and beyond to explain the menu to us that was entirely in German. Perfect place for lunch before or after a visit to the Lichtenstein Castle.

Can't go wrong with this traditional restaurant.
Huge place. Very cosy and lovely interior.
No reservations needed.
Enormous fast service and preparation of the dishes.
Drinks came lightning fast.
Soups were
Leberknödelsuppe: rich broth and a seldom to find roasted liver dumpling. Of enormous size! Seriously, this soup would have replaced a whole meal for me.
Kürbiscremesuppe: smooth and rich goodness.
Fries vegetables: what a delight! Super tender and tasty, perfectly coated in smooth bread crumbs, fried exactly to the point. Heavenly sauce accompanied the veggies fabulous. Everyone on the table loved that dish.
Pork Schnitzel: there are thinner ones and bigger ones (my preference). But tastewise, this one was very good. Can recommend.
Chicken Schnitzel: looked good, but the kids disappeared it before I had the chance to try.
No more space for deserts, sorry, next time.
Highly recommended for this area. A classic.
