★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Also ich war gestern dort und habe 0,5 Meter weißen Stoff gebraucht. Die Dame fragt mich ob es ein einfacher Baumwollstoff sein soll was ich bejahte. Als ich dann an der Kassa 7 Euro für 0,5 Meter weißen Uni Stoff bezahlt habe, habe ich nachgefragt ob der Meter wirklich 14 Euro kostet. Sie meinte naja das ist halt kein gewöhnlicher Baumwollstoff sondern Popeline. Als ich zu Hause war hab ich festgestellt, dass der Stoff recht durchsichtig ist und das Holz über welches ich den Stoff legen wollte durchscheint. Google hat mich dann aufgeklärt, das Popeline ein feingewebter Baumwollstoff ist der preislich sogar unter einem ordentlichen Baumwollstoff liegt. Der Teuerste im Word Wide Web liegt pro lfm bei 9,95 Euro. Der Günstigste bei 5,95 Euro. Dass auch die Privatwirtschaft ein Geschäft machen muss ist schon klar aber bei dem doppelten Preis ist das schon recht schwer sich für die heimische Wirtschaft zu entscheiden :-(
So I was there yesterday and needed 0.5 meters of white fabric. The lady asks me if it should be a simple cotton fabric, which I said yes. When I paid 7 euros at the cash register for 0.5 meters of plain white fabric, I asked if the meter really cost 14 euros. She said well, that's just not an ordinary cotton fabric but poplin. When I got home I noticed that the fabric is quite transparent and the wood I was going to put the fabric over shows through. Google then enlightened me that poplin is a finely woven cotton fabric that is even cheaper than regular cotton fabric. The most expensive on the World Wide Web is 9.95 euros per running meter. The cheapest at 5.95 euros. It is already clear that the private sector also has to do business, but at twice the price it is quite difficult to decide in favor of the domestic economy :-(
