★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice parking right in the center of Salzburg INSIDE A MOUNTAIN! Not very expensive and comfortable parking space, and it´s cool too - have you ever parked in a rock under a castle? There´s a corridor right to the concert hall and main square of the center.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There are no clear and concise English instructions for paying and exiting this parking garage; the process is not intuitive. Despite this, we figured out how to pay the ticket charge however, it is not clear that the ticket needs to be returned to the first post to activate the barrier. Also there does not seem to be a way to obtain a receipt for parking; another "gotcha".
As for the parking facility worker that arrived to "help" ...he was rude and arrogant. He also refused to speak or could not speak English; not friendly and certainly not helpful. People like this should not be working in a job that requires customer service skills in a multinational environment.

Right at the heart of the city. Also u can get ur tickets validated by any local cafes in the city [see for the orange validating stickers in front of the shop]. This brings your parking fee way low!
I paid 4 euros for 6 hours.
