Sometimes you dislike a place because of the food quality, sometimes you don't like the atmosphere, sometimes it's poor service. But sometimes it's neither of these - sometimes it's people's behavior and lack of basic human decency that inspire nothing but sorrow and a deep sense of disgust. That's what I have to say about this place. The owner and the staff are indecent and petty people and I feel very sorry that people like this happen to be business owners in public sector of catering services. I personally would never trust them with my food, much less dealt any kind of business with them.

Be aware that they have a price for the buffet, but while you're already eating they will tell you that you have to pay a drink EVEN IF YOU DON'T ORDER IT. They had absolutely no problem when i said they're losing a client and the ridiculously rude owner told me angrily and gesticulated to leave the restaurant if I'm not fine with it. I entered because of the poster outside where's clearly written that the menu costs 8,90€. So i entered with the 10€ note i had in my pocket and thought it will even be enough to leave a tip to the waiter. But because they have this rule of the drink you're forced to pay whatsoever (which you can't know until they tell you about when you're already eating), i had to pay 10,80€. I said i have no more money and they told me to go to the ATM. It was clearly not my mistake, but they didn't let me go without finding another 0,80€. Humiliating. PS: the quality of the food is average.

Food is good ( nothing wowed me, which is what u’d expect giving the pricey bill u’ll end up paying in this restaurant, thus it is fair to say i was a bit disappointment). Service is good.

This was my first time at a Sri Lankan restaurant and it won't be my last. We went for the tasting platter, which I can wholeheartedly recommend. Very friendly service, too.

Ok-ish. The service was not as you would expect. Eg we asked that they bring everything at once, meaning as it is ready and not bring the main course when starters are finished. As a result we waited for 30 minutes before we got starters since they waited until the main course was finished cooking... Also, they rarely took the dirty plates away, which started to clutter up our table. The waiter was also a little pushy and impatient. The service by the owner was very good though, so maybe we were unlucky with this specific waiter. The food was medium. Vegetable soup was good, the main course (some Roththi) didn't taste like much and was not great. The curries were good. The desert was very good. We were disappointed that they do not offer string hoppers, which would be nice. All in all it was ok but not the best Sri Lankan place in town.

The food was absolutely delicious, the staff is very friendly, and the garden is quite cosy. We really wanted to try the Watalappan dessert, which was sadly out, so we'll definitely be coming back soon!

Excellent food and not high prices. The waiter came almost as soon as we sat down. The restaurant is nice and has a friendly atmosphere. I'll definitely go there again.

We tried the Colombo hoppers platte. As a starter we got hopper and roll. Hopper was great but roll didn't feel very authentic. As curries we got chicken which tasted more like Indian curry than srilankan (strong cardamom taste), beef curry that was very good, beans curry also good, another beans curry (why would you give two beans curries?) with some kind of cream sauce (never had that in Sri Lanka), radish curry (tasted good but undercooked) and some other kind of curry which waiter didn't know it's name (but tasted good). There was also deviled chicken but wasn't really spicy at all. As a desert we got watalappan which was very good. Overall place was nice and waiters were friendly but food didn't do the justice for it's price.
