 The Zamg is one of the oldest weather services in the world. It is expected that it will merge with the Federal Geological Institute, the oldest geological service, to form a new agency in 2022. Expert knowledge from centuries finally comes together in order to guarantee a uniform, scientific treatment from the subsurface to the atmosphere.
