★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In many cultures it's a weird concept to visit cemeteries for fun. Not in Austria. I have to admit, for me this is one of the most peaceful places in Vienna.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Europe biggest graveyard, somehow fascinating, even beautiful and strange altogether. Visit the graves of famous people, musicians and politicians. Some places however remind me about Michael Jackson’s music video thriller. It’s so huge you might use a bicycle or car to move around.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great thing to do in Vienna on a Sunday when not much else is open. The cemetery is huge and provides a beautiful stroll away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Go to Gate 2 and the graves of Mozart, Beethoven and Schubert will be on the left hand side straight in in group 32A. Many of the tombstones are works of art.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful place for a photography walk: you will see deer, squirrels, woodpeckers and maybe hamsters. It’s claimed to be the biggest cementery in Europe, also it has the honor-grave of musician „Falco“ as a big attraction.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Huge graveyard which has many beatiful places. I would highly reocmmend going for a walk here, especially because you can see animals like deers, squirrels and hamesters.
