M	Marten Willems on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wij waren hier begin juli 2020. Het was er heerlijk rustig, misschien ook door de Coronacrisis. We stonden aan de rand van de camping en hadden een prachtig uitzicht op het dal en het stadje Overwolz, werkelijk prachtig! Hou je van rust, dan moet je hier zijn. Er is geen vertier. De plaatsen zijn groot. Phillip, de eigenaar is erg aardig. Het leuke stadje Oberwolz is een klein eindje naar beneden maar met de E-bike heel goed te doen, op en neer! In Oberwolz kun je gezellig een biertje drinken en er is ook een winkeltje. In de buurt kun hele mooie wandelingen maken. We hebben de kleine Sonnleiten wandelroute gelopen en op de alm in het Eselbergtal. Heel mooi. We were here at the beginning of July 2020. It was wonderfully quiet, perhaps also because of the Corona crisis. We stood on the edge of the campsite and had a beautiful view of the valley and the town of Overwolz, really beautiful! If you like peace and quiet, this is the place to be. There is no entertainment. The places are big. Phillip, the owner is very nice. The nice town of Oberwolz is a short way down but very doable with the E-bike, up and down! In Oberwolz you can have a nice beer and there is also a shop. You can make beautiful walks in the area. We have walked the small Sonnleiten hiking trail and on the alm in the Eselbergtal. Very nice.

D	Dietmar on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Schöner Platz mit Blick auf die Kleinstadt Oberwölz. Netter Chef und schönes Caffee am Platz. Saubere Sanitätsgebäude. Nice place with a view of the small town of Oberwölz. Nice boss and nice coffee at the place. Clean medical buildings.
C	Christine Rauscher on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wir sind heuer seit 25 Jahren Gäste auf dem Campingplatz Rothenfels und haben nur die besten Erfahrungen gemacht. Ich habe einige Rezensionen gelesen und muss eine Lanze brechen. Camping heißt "Naturverbundenheit" und es ist natürlich notwendig die Natur auch zu pflegen (will heißen....Bäume, Sträucher und Wiese müssen gestutzt und bei Gefahr oder Krankheit auch entfernt werden) und da die Wohnmobile immer größer werden, ist auch Wegbefestigung ein Thema.....daher ist dieser Campingplatz mit seiner herrlichen Lage, dem neuen "Café im Garten" (ebenfalls geführt von unserem jungen Burgherrn) und seinen netten Mitarbeitern, die sich liebevoll und kompetent umd Sanitär- und Platzpflege kümmern, sehr zu empfehlen. Josef und Christine We have been guests at the Rothenfels campsite for 25 years this year and have only had the best experiences. I've read some reviews and I've got to break a lance. Camping means "closeness to nature" and of course it is also necessary to look after nature (that is to say ... trees, bushes and meadows have to be trimmed and removed in case of danger or illness) and since the mobile homes are getting bigger and bigger, paving is also a requirement Topic ..... therefore this campsite with its wonderful location, the new "café in the garden" (also run by our young lord of the castle) and its nice staff, who lovingly and competently take care of sanitary and site maintenance, are highly recommended . M	Melanie Bo on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Endlich mal eine Burg erobern! Und Hunde sowie ein Lagerfeuer waren erlaubt. Es war herrlich und auch die Sanitärenanlagen waren akkurat sauber. Was ich persönlich schade fand, der natürliche Weg war zum Teil mit groben schwarzen Asphalt aufgefüllt. Finally conquer a castle! And dogs and a campfire were allowed. It was lovely and the sanitary facilities were meticulously clean. What I personally found a shame, the natural path was partly filled with coarse black asphalt.
A	Anita Sattler on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wunderschöner, ruhiger Campingplatz mit sauberen Sanitäranlagen. Auch Waschmaschinen stehen gegen Gebühr zur Verfügung. Kleiner Spielplatz ist vorhanden. Wir sind sehr freundlich begrüßt worden. Beautiful, quiet campsite with clean sanitary facilities. Washing machines are also available for a fee. There is a small playground. We were greeted in a very friendly manner.
B	Bettina Ritz on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Das Cafe im Garten am Camping Platz ist besonders zu empfehlen. Super Ambiente und leckere Snacks. Wir kommen sicher wieder. The cafe in the garden at the camping site is particularly recommended. Great ambience and delicious snacks. We'll be back for sure.
O	Okiem Alexa on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really nice camping with good playgorund for kids, clean WC and nice view for the castle. Reception is open from 8 do 9.30 am so if you come in other time you just need to find a free place and go the the Reception next morning. Fully recomended.
