M	Marek Cienky on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This small camping is directly managed and run by owners. They really put a lot of effort in this place. Very friendly on the phone, informing that they have free places, willing to make booking for one night. Available on the spot if you need something. Place is small but it has everything what you need when you want to explore this area. We were on the way from Wolfgang see and wanted to hang around one day in this area to see Halstatt or Dachstein. This camping perfectly suited our needs and I can only recommend it. Price is around 35 eur (camper van, 2 adults, 2 kids) + metered electricity. Make sure to use gas for water and heating in order to not pay too much for electricity as we did (but I learned something new, no problem at all.)
I	Ilja Iljuchin on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First of all, I would like to point out that my review, which follows, concerns mainly the place and surroundings of the camp, not the camp itself. The vast majority of reviews below, rated the campsite correctly. I chose the lowest rating, because there is excessive noise from the surroundings in the camp. The main cause of the noise is the near main road 145 (Salzkammergut Straße) and active traffic from 06:00 to 23:00. Even before seven o'clock in the morning, trucks and tractors can be heard, which have become a regular alarm clock. The second cause of the noise is the surrounding. The camp is located between meadows and in the summer days farmers rode with loud agricultural machinery, mowed the meadow, turned hay and then rolled bales with hay until 23:00. We were woken up at 7am by a tractor three mornings in a row. I have no reservations about the camp itself or its owners.
H	Harmen Westerhof on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dear Annemarie and Leon, as promised my review (a tent camper who stayed for 2 weeks): 5 stars for friendliness and service, cleanliness and maintenance, and getting your clean laundry back folded up personally by the hostess! Also for the sheer variety of things nearby to be active and/or relax with, and the charm of its quiet mountain village, Bad Mitterndorf. 4 stars for scenery, pitch size, and ease of getting friendly with any and all neighbours. No separate area for tents, so at least one caravan will usually obstruct one´s view and/or limit one´s general sense of space. 3 stars for its position, which was a little too near the main road´s noise for my taste. Its adjacence to green fields, and the nice mountain stream to bathe or cool your feet in, made up for that. Note: I´m a light sleeper, so this might not bother everyone. With ear plugs, which I also wear at home, I slept well. Therefore, 4 stars overall. I climbed some mountains, relaxed at the spa, read two of my books, did some touristy stuff and went home rested and happy. With fond memories, Harmen Westerhof.

The owners take huge pride in welcoming their guests, we had a small issue with our camper van which they were more than happy to assist us in every way possible of course with that special smile on their faces. Just love it…. Will be recommending this place to everyone who ever wants a good quite place in the mountains. Thanks guys for all your help ☺️ we are ever grateful. Kiwi living in Europe!
