Die Bestuhlung ist stapelbar und stammt wohl aus einem Vortragsraum, die Bänke sind mit billigem Kunstleder überzogen dass überall abblättert und die Tische würden eine häufigere Reinigung sicher vertragen. Das Personal ist willig aber mit der Größe überfordert die Qualität des Kuchens und des Kaffees in Ordnung aber nicht mehr. Trotz der schönen Aussicht und der vielen Glasflächen gibt es keine einzige lebende Pflanze - auch die Dekoration beschränkt sich auf das absolute Minimum. Ein privater Betreiber hätte wohl was draus gemacht - ich vermute mal der Laden gehört zum Haus... Café with the charm of a company canteen .. Als das Teller serviert wurde hatte man das Gefühl man es schlittert gleich über den Tisch. Das ausgeschüttete Wasser mussten wir selbst wegwischen. Beide Café waren extrem bitter. Zum Aussehen des Cafés selbst. Grundsätzlich war alles sauber aber die Sitze haben ihre beste Zeit hinter sich. Bei sämtlichen Sitzbänken blättert die Oberfläche ab. Für ein Café in einem Theater und bei den Preisen hätte ich mir wirklich mehr erwartet. The Café Volksgarten is unfortunately not recommended. Der Frühstücks-Brunch am Samstag bietet Top Qualität und ein reichhaltiges Angebot für jeden Geschmack; besonders hervor zu heben sind hier die kreativen leckeren veganen und vegetarischen Speisen. Der Ausblick auf den Volksgarten ist zu jeder Tages- und Jahreszeit interessant bis stimmungsvoll. Das Personal ist überaus freundlich, aufmerksam und die Bedienung ist rasch. Praktisch sind die guten Parkmöglichkeiten, leichte Erreichbarkeit mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln. In den wärmeren Jahreszeiten ist die Terrasse ist optimal zum Entschleuningen, an besonders schwülen Tagen ist es indoors angenehm kühler und im Winter oder zur Adventzeit bietet sich nach einem Linz-Shopping ein Besuch auf einen Kaffee oder Tee zum Wärmen an. Very nice ambience, in summer with a garden on the terrace. The service is super nice and the cakes are really good! Perfect for a leisurely afternoon.
