★ ★ ★ ★ ★ LOVE this place!! The desserts are amazing, the setting - spectacular!! And the service is wonderful (extra thanks to Chantal & also to Vincenzo)! The prices are very reasonable. Can't wait to return.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The cake and coffee was great! Very quiet and a nice mixed crowd, mostly older. Not sure if it's always like this in the afternoon but was a great respite from the crazy bustle of the tourist center. Waiter was helpful and there were two gluten free cake options. Recommended, but maybe not with children, unless they are very chill. I'm pretty sure they don't have highchairs.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stopped by here on the way from Salzburg old town. Prices are a bit much but it's definitely worth it. The sacher torte was better than the one in Café Sacher in Vienna. The cake that I tried was called Sacher Savarin, amazing to say the least, but then, maybe because it had a nice infusion of Rum. Waiters and Waitresses were friendly and spoke excellent English. I would recommend Cafe Sacher and would come here again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best meals of my life! The red sauce pasta was amazing! The potato salad and schnitzel was incredible, like nothing we’ve tasted in that region on our travels. We loved the torte, light and rich!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Elegant and beautiful place to have a sacher torte or apple strudel and a hot drink while admiring the lighted cliffs and watching the Salzach go by. Try to sit outside if you can. The red glow in the picture is from the heat lamps, which make it comfortable enough to sit outside to enjoy the views this time of year.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place is great, super fancy. We went there to have the famous cake, but ended disappointed. It's not that good, I prefer others cakes. But still was a good excuse to go to this famous cafe, but I wouldn't repeat the cake, one time is ok.
