Im Herzen des Linzer Neustadtviertels genießt man im NUZ Kaffee, Kuchen, kühle Getränke und mehr im Gastgarten direkt am Hessenplatz mit bestem Blick auf Neptunbrunnen, Kinderspielplatz etc. oder im äußerst geschmackvoll eingerichteten Café.
Die große Glasfront lädt zum Beobachten der gegenüberliegenden Busstation ein. Falls man nur wenig Zeit hat und vielleicht selbst gleich zum Bus muss, empfehle ich den „Expresso“ an der Theke.
Der Kaffe kommt von der Biokaffeerösterei Traxler am Südbahnhofmarkt, das Bier von der Freistädter Braucommune. Qualität, Regionalität, Liebe zum Detail und Nachhaltigkeit scheinen hier großgeschrieben zu werden.

In the heart of Linz's Neustadt district, you can enjoy coffee, cakes, cool drinks and more in the garden directly at Hessenplatz with the best view of the Neptune fountain, children's playground, etc. or in the extremely tastefully furnished café.
The large glass front invites you to watch the opposite bus station. If you have little time and maybe have to go to the bus yourself, I recommend the "Expresso" at the counter.
The coffee comes from the organic coffee roaster Traxler on Südbahnhofmarkt, the beer from the Freistadt brewing community. Quality, regionality, attention to detail and sustainability seem to be very important here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Habe mir hier einen ChaiLatte und Schokokuchen zum Mitnehmen geholt. Beides sehr lecker doch vorallem der Schokokuchen hat mich umgehauen.
Ist eine Empfehlung wert!
Got a chai latte and chocolate cake here to take away. Both very tasty but especially the chocolate cake blew me away.
Is worth a recommendation!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ein sehr gemütliches Kaffeehaus mit Skandinavischen Flair. Preis/Leistung ist OK. Lädt zum Verweilen ein. Es werden vegane Kuchen, Torten und Leckereien geboten. Der Kaffee schmeckt hervorragend. Und das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.
Netter Gastgarten, in den man die Sonne zum Kaffee genießen kann.
Ich freu mich schon auf den nächsten Besuch.
A very cozy coffee house with a Scandinavian flair. Price / performance is OK. Invites you to linger. Vegan cakes, pies and delicacies are on offer. The coffee tastes great. And the staff is very friendly and accommodating.
Nice outdoor dining area where you can enjoy the sun with your coffee.
I'm looking forward to the next visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Kleines veganes Café mit lecker Kaffee und Kuchen. Heute gab's drei verschiedene Kuchen zur Auswahl, alle sahen sehr ansprechend aus. Habe mich für den Zitronenkuchen und einen Cappuccino mit Hafermilch entschieden. Beides war vorzüglich. Im kleinen Gastgarten kann man gemütlich in der Sonne sitzen und die Leckereien genießen. Personal war zuvorkommend und nett, Preis-Leistung passt ebenfalls gut (7,20€ für Cappuccino und Kuchen). Und das schönste: Gesamte Auswahl tierleidfrei. Danke!
Small vegan café with delicious coffee and cake. Today there were three different cakes to choose from, all of which looked very appealing. I opted for the lemon cake and a cappuccino with oat milk. Both were excellent. In the small guest garden you can sit comfortably in the sun and enjoy the delicacies. Staff was courteous and nice, value for money was also good (€7.20 for cappuccino and cake). And best of all: the entire selection is cruelty-free. Thanks!
