★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Twice I was there and twice I was negative surprise when I heard how much I have to pay.... It's not correct, when products haven't price and you choose them only looking! Second time I was very disappointed with taste too... In Krems you can find many other "conditorai" with better service and very good quality.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We visit this place often and we like it very much. It's a coffee house with tradition in the heart of Krems (very close to the train station, at the square). They have good coffee and offer a great variety of pastries, cakes and even ice cream. They also have some specialties of the Wachau region. Breakfasts are great too. Our favorite is the "Queen's breakfast".

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cafe Raimitz is a decade-long traditional coffee house in typical Austrian/Viennese style. They deliver stable top-notch quality. Ask for the famous Mandelkipfel but come early as they are sold out in the late morning.

But good things seem to last!
Mozart cake is a fantastic piece of heaven.
Just right. Not too sweet, not too dry, excellent.
Chocolate lovers should try the Pariser Spitz. An incredible experience for your taste buds.
Coffee comes from Meinl and the machine is perfectly balanced for very smooth taste.
Staff was a bit slow, even though the place was empty. They seemed a bit under-challenged...
Overall a must-visit if you are in town!
