H	Helmuth Mayrhofer on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pfannberg wurde Anfang des 13. Jahrhunderts, auf einem strategisch günstig gelegenen Hügel erbaut und wird 1214erstmals urkundlich erwähnt. Pfannberg war eine der bedeutendsten Burgen des Murtals. Mitte des 16. Jahrhunderts war die Burg aber bereits stark vernachlässigt. Die ausgedehnte Burgruine liegt auf einer nach drei Seiten steil abfallenden bewaldeten Bergkuppe und trotz des stark fortgeschrittenen Verfalls sind noch eine große Anzahl von Mauern und Gebäudeteilen von dieser imposanten Anlage vorzufinden und hinterlassen einen nachhaltigen Eindruck auf den Besucher. Pfannberg was built on a strategically located hill at the beginning of the 13th century and was first mentioned in 1214. Pfannberg was one of the most important castles in the Mur valley. In the middle of the 16th century the castle was already neglected. The extensive castle ruins lie on a steeply sloping forested hilltop on three sides and despite the highly advanced decay, a large number of walls and parts of the building can still be found from this imposing complex and leave a lasting impression on the visitor.
