S	Stefan Hafenscher on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sehr schöne kleine Wanderung zur Burgruine. Wir gingen von der Bahnstation weg, in Obervellach selbst gab es aber auch ein paar Parkplätze. Mit Kind und Hund haben wir ca 40min für den Jägersteig benötigt. Die Ruine selbst ist sehr schön gelegen und von viel Grün umringt. Manchmal dürften da oben auch kleine Feste steigen, zumindest sind uns die Bierbanke nicht entgangen. Der sehr gut erhaltene bzw hergerichtete Bergfried kann betreten werden. Nach dem Aufstieg wird man mit einer schönen Aussicht belohnt. Wir haben dann noch ein Weilchen auf der Bank vor dem Bergfried gechilled. Heimwärts ging es unkompliziert, aber trotzdem schön, die Forststraße entlang. Wer in Hermagor Urlaub macht sollte die kleine Wanderung einplanen. Für uns war es der ideale Einstieg in eine schöne Woche in Kärnten. Very nice little hike to the castle ruins. We walked away from the train station, but there were also a few parking spaces in Obervellach itself. With the child and dog we needed about 40 minutes for the Jägersteig. The ruin itself is very nicely situated and surrounded by greenery. Sometimes small parties are likely to take place up there, at least the beer banks have not escaped us. The very well preserved or restored keep can be entered. After the ascent you will be rewarded with a beautiful view. We then chilled for a while on the bench in front of the keep. The way home was uncomplicated, but still beautiful, along the forest road. If you are on holiday in Hermagor, you should plan the short hike. For us it was the ideal start to a wonderful week in Carinthia.
k	knuffel dings on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Vielleicht nicht unbedingt bei 30 Grad oder mehr, zu Mittag hochwandern. Es geht doch kontinuierlich bergauf, zwar im Schatten und im Wald, trotzdem anstrengend. Oben angekommen, herrliches Ambiente. Ixh bin mir nicht sicher, ob man auf der Burg feiern könnte, da Tische und Bänke genügend vorhanden sind. Es gibt ein ö-klo. Die Aussicht vom Turm ist fabelhaft. Sonst ist sie nicht so groß. Maybe not necessarily at 30 degrees or more, hike up at noon. It is continuously uphill, in the shade and in the forest, but still exhausting. Once at the top, wonderful ambience. I'm not sure if you could celebrate in the castle, as there are enough tables and benches. There is a toilet. The view from the tower is fabulous. Otherwise it is not that big.
