Teilweise erhaltene Außenmauern, Bergfried mit Höheneingang, entkernte Kapelle und mehrere Hochburg Gebäude Mauerreste. Die Anlage wurde auf drei Ebene gebaut und von der ehemaligen Hochburg gibt es eine schöne Aussicht über das darunterliegende Tal. Die Besichtigung der Ruine ist auf eigene Gefahr. Castle ruins Hochwart / Hohenwart First mentioned in the middle of the 12th century. Partially preserved outer walls, keep with entrance height, gutted chapel and several stronghold building remains of the wall. The complex was built on three levels and from the former stronghold there is a beautiful view over the valley below. The tour of the ruins is at your own risk.

An old ruin hidden in the forest, completely overgrown and dilapidated with nearby a beautiful viewpoint with a view of Sternberg and the Mittagskogel.

An hour's walk on an idyllic forest path lead to the remains of the castle. Only more parts of the gothic chapel are preserved.
P	Pallox Sunshine on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ein wunderbarer kleiner Ort. Habe ihn von der Richtung Velden aus bewandert. Das letzte Stück war recht steil, aber für Wanderer und auch normalen Spaziergänger, kein großes Hindernis und gut ausgeschildert auch leicht zu finden. Die Belohnung war die alte Ruine mit einer traumhaften Aussicht, welche man hinter einem kleinen Hügelchen von einer Bank aus, genießen kann. Die Ruine an sich ist sehr alt und weißt nur noch ein paar Fassaden auf, hat aber immernoch eine leicht mythische Aura. A wonderful little place. Have him from the direction Velden knowledgeable. The reward was the old ruin with a fantastic view, which you can enjoy behind a small hill from a bank.
