D	Daniel Soldner on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Alte Gemäuer oberhalb von Zirl. Zur Burgruine führen mehrere Wege. Mit Kindern ist es sehr schön vom Kalvarienberg hinauf zu wandern. Man nimmt am besten Höhenpromenadenweg. Sehr gut begehbar und die kleinen Tunnel im Felsen, machen die Wanderung auch für kleinere Kinder sehr spannend und abwechslungsreich. Bis auf die letzten Meter, die sich zu einem Steig entwickeln. Hier ist etwas Vorsicht geboten. Doch dann hat man das Ziel erreicht und genießt die Rast mit einem schönen Ausblick auf Zirl und ins Inntal. Dann noch kurz zum Standschützendenkmal und über den Wanderweg "Schöne Aussicht" zurück zum Ausgangspunkt. Old walls above Zirl. The castle ruins lead several ways. With children it is very nice to walk up from Calvary. It is best to take Höhenpromenadenweg. Very easy to walk on and the small tunnels in the rock make the hike very exciting and varied even for smaller children. Except for the last few meters, which develop into a climb. Here is some caution. But then you have reached the destination and enjoy the rest with a beautiful view of Zirl and the Inn Valley. Then briefly to the Standschützendenkmal and the trail "beautiful view" back to the starting point.

T	Tom Preuss on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A bit of a hike, but not bad by any stretch. There are nore than one trail to and from and every turn you make, on any trail, you'll find a beautiful view. Doesn't require a ton of time to get there and back so worth the stop if you have the chance.

To start the path you cross over a small wooden bridge over the Schlossbach gorge exit into Zirl. Then make uour way up To the Fragenstein forts. Lots of history around them. You need a head for heights as these sit on a small outcrop of rock with steep sides all round. Check out the tunnel through the rock underneath them to get into the gorge.
