★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the few places of interest in this area which is worth visiting. This castle has an exhibition about the history of the region and its people. The rooms inside and the stairs elaborated from the stone of the hill are fascinating. The views from above are amazing and if the weather is fine, you can see miles away across the czech border (Breclav). A car can be parked either directly under the Burg or in the village (in that case the castle is easily accessible by feet). A small fee for entrance is required. It is worth a visit, it takes about 50 min to reach it from Vienna. The village beneath the Burg offers good accomodation and lunch/dinner possibilities with excellent wines (Weinstrasse).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great panorama view over the beutiful ladscape of vineyards, castle is for sure Worth visiting. It takes 1,5h to go around and check all the places inside.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not so eye-catching landmark from the outside, but very interesting and alive from the inside. The castle spans several floors not only above the mountain but also inside. The key points of the castle are repaired and supplemented with short but rather informative signs. The view from the castle is stunning as you can see very far in every direction.
