★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Zur Ruine ist der Eingang abgespert. Auf einer Ebenen Fläche kann man grillen, ob es erlaubt ist kann ich nicht sagen. Es gibt auch zum Sitzen eine Parkpank. Ja.... zum kurz - Aufenthalt.
The entrance to the ruin is blocked off. You can grill on a flat surface, but I can't say whether it is allowed. There is also a parking pank for sitting. Yes ... for a short stay.

Nice hiking trail from the market square in Pfaffenhofen, walking time about half an hour, even in the rain, with an umbrella, accessible??

Il resto del castello è saltato in aria quando, nei primi anni del 1700, era adibito a polveriera dalle truppe tirolesi ed un fulmine lo ha colpito.
Nel medioevo era sede di un tribunale e ha cambiato parecchi proprietari.
Oggi è di proprietà comunale, e viene aperto in alcune occasioni, durante l'estate.
Si raggiunge con una passeggiata di mezz'ora dalla piazza principale del paese.
Of the castle, originally from the 12th century, today only the main tower remains.
The rest of the castle blew up when, in the early 1700s, it was used as a powder magazine by the Tyrolean troops and lightning struck it.
In the Middle Ages it was the seat of a court and has changed several owners.
Today it is owned by the municipality, and is open on a few occasions during the summer.
It can be reached with a half hour walk from the town's main square.
