Raggiungibile in macchina con ampio parcheggio o a piedi (la stradina è vicino alla chiesetta di San Antonio situata ai piedi del castello - anche questa merita una tappa ora che l'hanno restaurata). Le visite guidate (in varie lingue tra cui in italiano) si possono prenotare tramite il sito internet oppure direttamente nello shop all'ingresso del castello. In agosto mi pare sia prevista una visita notturna alle 22.00!! Nella corte interna piccolo e piacevole bar con posti a sedere esterni (chiude alle 17.00). Splendid castle, open to visitors, located right in the Municipality of Heinfels. Accessible by car with ample parking or on foot (the road is near the small church of San Antonio located at the foot of the castle - this too deserves a stop now that it has been restored). Guided tours (in various languages including Italian) can be booked through the website or directly in the shop at the entrance to the castle. In August it seems to me that a night visit is scheduled at 22.00 !! In the inner courtyard, a small and pleasant bar with outdoor seating (closes at 5.00 pm).
A	André Hammer on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ein tolles Ausflugsziel für die ganze Familie. Die neue renovierte/restaurierte Burg Heinfels ist eine tolle Attraktion. Es gibt hier auch geführte Besichtigung, wo einem die Geschichte der Burg näher gebracht wird. Die Führung ist auch sehr gut für Kinder und Jugendliche geeignet, es geht hoch hinaus, daher sollte man trittsicher sein (ist aber sehr gut machbar). A great destination for the whole family. The new renovated / restored Heinfels Castle is a great attraction. There is also a guided tour where you can learn about the history of the castle. The tour is also very suitable for children and young people, it goes high, so you should be sure-footed (but it is very easy to do).
C	Campagnolo Patrizia on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il castello di Heinfelds è arrocato su un'altura che domina il piccolo paese che lo ospita, la cittadina di Sillian e un bellissimo scorcio della Val Pusteria. È un castello molto antico recentemente ben ristrutturato. Si possono visitare alcune stanze, cortili e il mastio. Da un poggiolo sospeso quasi nel vuoto la vista della valle sottostante è fantastica. Heinfelds Castle is perched on a hill overlooking the small town that hosts it, the town of Sillian and a beautiful glimpse of the Val Pusteria. It is a very old castle which has recently been well restored. You can visit some rooms, courtyards and the keep. From a balcony suspended almost in the void the view of the valley below is fantastic.
V	Valentina Polidori on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Castello appena ristrutturato. Molto bello e grande. È stato una sorpresa sapere che appartiene alla Loaker (che nel 2025 in un'ala adibirà un suo hotel). La guida è stata molto simpatica e ci ha fatto anche toccare una palla di cannone in granito! Se passate da Heinfels, non andate solo alla fabbrica Loacker. Questo castello merita davvero una visita! Newly renovated castle. Very nice and big. It was a surprise to know that it belongs to the Loaker (which in 2025 will use a hotel in a wing). The guide was very nice and even made us touch a granite cannonball! If you go to Heinfels, you don't just go to the Loacker factory. This castle is really worth a visit!
