In three years at this school I have never been satisfied with the decision to look for something else. I do not recommend this school to anyone.

J	Johnny Dab on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Leider muss ich sagen , dass ich mich in dieser Schule in den letzten zwei der vier Jahre , die ich dort verbracht habe , wirklich nicht mehr sonderlich wohl gefühlt habe ! Insbesondere die Lehrpersonen an dieser Schule haben sich einige Späße mit uns erlaubt. Dies ist natürlich nur eine subjektive Wahrnehmung , doch sind meiner und vieler anderer Meinungen nach nur wenige zuverlässige , neutrale und freundliche Lehrer an dieser Schule zu finden . Oft kam man sich als Schüler eher untergeordnet und abgewiesen vor , und einige Lehrer scheinen gar keine Lust mehr auf ihren Beruf oder im generellen auf Jugendliche zu haben . So kam es gehäuft zu Beleidigungen , Resignierung normaler Fragen, falscher Umgang/ Aufputsch bei Mobbing/Cybermobbing(sehr sensibles Thema!) usw ..... Allerdings konnte man sich aber immer auf einen guten Zusammenhalt unter den Schülern verlassen . Ich bin mittlerweile ziemlich froh, einen anderen höheren Schulweg gewählt zu haben, und wünsche allen anderen Schülern viel Glück beim überstehen dieser Schule ! Unfortunately, I have to say that I really didn't feel very comfortable in this school in the last two of the four years that I spent there! In particular, the teachers at this school allowed themselves a few jokes with us. This is of course only a subjective perception, but in my opinion and many others there are few reliable, neutral and friendly teachers to be found at this school. As a student, one often felt subordinate and rejected, and some teachers seem to have no more interest in their profession or in general with young people. So there were frequent insults, resignation of normal questions, wrong handling / stimulation in bullying / cyberbullying (very sensitive topic!) Etc ..... However, one could always rely on a good solidarity among the students. I am now quite happy to have chosen another high school route and I wish all the other students the best of luck in surviving this school!
J	Johann Haag on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Aus Elternsicht: Zwei unserer Kinder haben das BG/BORG St. Johann erfolgreich absolviert und anschließend erfreut festgestellt, dass ihnen die Türe der ETH in Zürich (Mathematik) und die Türe der LMU in München (Medizin) ohne jede weitere Aufnahmeprüfung offen stand. Das ist absolut Top. Das Gymnasium St. Johann hat den Vorteil, dass es in der Region keine schulischen Mitbewerber gibt. Das hat zur Folge, dass Lehrer von den SchülerInnen in St. Johann in Tirol wohl etwas mehr verlangen können und hierdurch die Leistung und das schulische Niveau steigt. Soweit ich sehe, bedeutet das aber auch, dass am Land gute und weniger gute Schüler gemeinsam in einer Klasse sitzen. Jeder hat am Land daher seine persönliche Chance. In städtischen Gymnasien wird man eher durch die gewählte Schule stigmatisiert. That is absolutely great. The St. Johann grammar school has the advantage that there are no school competitors in the region. In urban high schools, one is more likely to be stigmatized by the school chosen.
K	Krh on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Manche Lehrer sind nicht gerade die besten und sollten sich wirklich überlegen, ob sie den richtigen Beruf gewählt haben. Aber das ist wahrscheinlich in allen Schulen so und wird sich nie ändern. Gebäude ist ganz schön. Geht also. Some teachers are not exactly the best and should really consider whether they have chosen the right profession. But that is likely to be the case in all schools and will never change. Building is quite beautiful. So go.
